Senior Wellness Clinic
The Senior Wellness Clinic focuses on health promotion and disease prevention for adults 55+. Operated by Visiting Nurses Association (VNA), services include health screenings, blood pressure checks, and foot care. Foot care cost is $20 at the time of service, with reduced fees available. Kaiser now pays for toe nail trimming for most of their senior citizen members. Call 303- 655-2075 during Clinic hours for more information and to make an appointment. The Clinic is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays and the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Clinic hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Caregivers Support Group
This group is for those who are caring for a loved one at home or at the nursing home. People of all ages are welcome to attend. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 10- 11:30 am. Call 303-426-4408 for more information. The programis co-sponsored by the Brighton Senior Center, the Senior Hub and the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Senior Center in conjunction with Brighton Police are offering free safety programs.

• Vial of Life - Provides critical information to emergency personnel. Fill out a form, put it in a baggie with a Vial of Life sticker and tape it to the refrigerator. Put a sticker on the front door to show rescuers you participate.
• Lock Boxes - Safely leave a key for rescuers to get into your home in an emergency. The lock box contains a spare key and hangs on the front door. The lock combination is kept in a secure police file.
• “ID For Me” Bracelets - For anyone that suffers from memory loss and can’t remember their name and where they live. The bracelet is engraved with a number that corresponds to the information kept on police file.
