Medical and Non-Medical Volunteers Needed
Platte Valley Medical Center is currently seeking medical and non-medical volunteers on Saturday, April 12th to help carry out the nation’s largest and most respected community health program. These teams of medical and non-medical volunteers will help provide free and low-cost health awareness and educational screenings at PVMC’s 9Health Fair site on Saturday, April 12th.
Medical volunteers, such as phlebotomists, nurses and emergency medical technicians (EMT) are needed to deliver the 31-component blood chemistry screening at all 9Health Fair sites. Other medical screenings that need medical support include blood pressure, fasting finger stick glucose, lung function, hearing, prostate/ testicular screening, foot, Pap smear, skin, breast exam, mental health screening and more. Medical professionals for “Talk with a Health Professional” screenings are also needed.
