Letter from the Editor:

Time is flying and one of my favorite seasons of the year is fast approaching. We’ve been so fortunate…at least this far into winter….to not have the heavy snow we did last year. Those may be famous last words, but, this winter is more akin to what I’ve known in my 34 years in Colorado. Notwithstanding those snowy flakes, the thought of Spring coming inspires us and says new growth is on the way. That possibility exists for each one of us as well. Holding that thought brings forth those possibilities.

The Brighton Buzz sponsored an Advertiser Mixer on February 20th at The Brighton Depot. It was a true pleasure to see 44 people attend to mix and learn more about each other as businesses. While this venue has been created to introduce advertisers in our Magazine to each other, readers with or without businesses are welcome to attend. We look forward to planning our next mixer and encourage you to watch for the date of the event. The time spent learning more about what’s available in Brighton makes your experience living here that much more valuable. Our thanks go out to The Brighton Depot for preparing such good food and for their Buzzin’ hospitality!

Please note the Business Expo being held by the Sisters of Success on April 3rd. Their ad for the event is on page 13. This has been a great event the past two years as it’s hosted a sizable number of vendors and attendees each time it’s taken place. The Expo will be held, this year, at the Adams County Fairgrounds to make it more possible to house the expanding amount of people. Get ready taste the chili, receive the giveaways, and meet many of the fabulous businesses in the area. Contact them if you want to be a vendor.

We’re welcoming a number of new advertisers to The Brighton Buzz this month. Be sure to look through the issue completely and see what’s happening in Brighton and the surrounding areas. We’ve attracted some great businesses and are happy to share them with you.

Enjoy this month of March. Our cover advertiser, the Orchard Church offers a chance to put new meaning into your Easter Sunday this year. If you’re looking for a church to attend, this might be the time to try their welcoming and expanding congregation.
