Brighton Senior Center Celebrates 30 Yr. Anniversary
We traffic through our every day life thinking how we don’t want to get old. Thinking further, however, there’s a huge difference in being old chronologically and acting old…no matter what the age. A visit to the Brighton Senior Center lets you know that the people who are currently participating in their programs have every opportunity to keep up with the current events, trends, and activities. And, they’re having a very good time doing it!
Classes are held to teach everything from nutritional tips, what to do if you’re a grandparent raising grandkids, identity theft, jazzersize, crafts, cancer signs, hearing aid solutions, and medicare counseling. There are field trips that can be taken to some of our most wonderful mountain places to enjoy beautiful Colorado, lots of dining out, dances, and sporting events. These are only a few of the things on the calendar with more coming. Wow, it’s not so terrible to grow old, now is it? Especially with a group of people who know how to enjoy life. The first week of October will be filled with anniversary celebration festivities. Call the Brighton Senior Center at 303-655-2075 for details.

A number of older people have moved to the Brighton area to be near their children who also live here. Let’s face it…the fun-seeking seniors are a growing number of our current population....
