Dream While Others Are Wishing

It’s always amazing to me how quickly time flies. We’ve gone through the first month of 2012....resolved....unresolved...recommitted and looking at the possibilities for the coming year! We’ve had enough time to look out the front and rear view mirrors of our journey and see where we think we might be going with our next 11 months. This introspection is always a good thing! Many of us have seen enough to know that there are a lot of opportunities looming, if we just have the right attitude.

This has been a brisk time of development in the Brighton area for new businesses. I’ve been on a number of meetings with new businesses that are excited about being in Brighton and looking forward to growing their establishments in one of the fastest growing communities in Colorado. These new businesses relate to some very good benefits for our residents in Brighton and the surrounding areas. We welcome Front Range Auto as a new advertiser in our magazine and encourage you to stop by to meet their staff and learn more about their business and what they have to offer. Candy Bouquet has also been open for just a short while and we encourage you to visit their store while you’re in the mood to find something for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day. They have a beautiful store and a very friendly staff. Brighton continues to grow in a way that makes it easy to drive only a short distance to fill many of your needs in a very fine way. This is a most exciting time in Brighton’s history as well. As you will note, 2012 brings us the opportunity to celebrate Brighton’s 125th Year Anniversary. Keep your eyes open for a variety of ways we, as a community, will celebrate these historic moments. I believe the best is yet to come!

In preparing for the challenges and victories of the coming year, I sought some inspiration from others who have experienced many of the same hurdles as we now encounter. I hope these simple thoughts bring inspiration to your February and that you enjoy your next month in 2012.
