Susan_EditorSusan Kline, publisher/editor for The Brighton Buzz, has been working as an “idea resource” for the small to medium-sized business since the early 80’s selling accounting systems to small businesses. That segued into a print brokering business that has been in operation since 1990. After moving to Brighton in June 2004, Susan began advertising in The Brighton Buzz which was under a different ownership at the time. After several months of advertising, she was approached to buy the paper and immediately seized the opportunity as a challenge and excitement to be part of the growing community that Brighton has become. The ability to meet so many great businesses and know more about her new hometown, has been a wonderful bi-product of this venture. Her knowledge and experience has guided the development of the magazine, and she’s looking forward to exploring new ideas to keep the creative juices flowing through the publication. The best we hear is yet to come!

Kovas Lapsys was raised in a family of artists and taught to appreciate Kovas Lapsys - Graphic Designerfine design from an early age. He received his formal training in graphic design at the School of Visual Communications at Loyola University in Chicago. After 4 years of working in Chicago, Kovas relocated to Denver where he is now a contract designer for small businesses and runs his own creative greeting card company, www.KovasKardz.com. Kovas is proficient in many desktop media applications and specializes in brand/image development, creating logos, advertisements, direct-mail, promotional graphics and simple web sites. He brings his extensive knowledge and expertise to the Brighton Buzz to assist advertisors and vendors in creating exceptional ads that get results.

Amy & Dusty Ballinger, web developers for the Brighton Buzz, learned alot about web design and search engine optimization through trial & error while creating their own site BizziBid.com. They are now able to share these expertise with other small business owners & help bring the very best information to the web.
